New Flexibilities Announced For The Employment Committed Sme Support Programme Second Call

Within the Empowering the Private Sector to Foster Social and Economic Cohesion in Türkiye (FOSTER) Project Employment Committed SME Support Programme Second Call, new flexibilities have been introduced for SMEs:

Within these flexibilities;

  • On an exceptional basis and only in the first monitoring period, beneficiary SMEs that have paid SSI premium days equal to or higher than 1 for each new employee will be deemed to have fulfilled the eligibility criteria.
  • For achieving job retention/creation target in each 4-month monitoring period, winning SMEs shall prove that at least 40 SSI premium days have been paid for each retained/created employee subject to the Personnel Expenses support.
  • For achieving job retention/creation target in each 4-month monitoring period, winning SMEs shall maintain at least four times the lowest number of SSI premium days paid within a month over the last 12 months preceding the starting date of the support programme (In the earthquake impacted project provinces no control will be applied with the baseline value (premium days for the previous 12 months) will be made.)

FOSTER Project, financed by the European Union, managed by KfW Development Bank and implemented by KOSGEB, aims to improve the conditions for SMEs to create and retain jobs and strengthen their position as employers by increasing their access to finance.
